Now this core group of alt-right edgelords largely does not care if they are exposed. After all, its the pony fandom. They've found a home here and the largest websites like Derpibooru will continue to allow them to exist in the community. Artists love them!

For a specific example, the artist MKogwheel helped create an oc called "Fireaxe" that is a direct reference to the Right Wing Safety Squads initiative on /pol/.

Right wing extremists have made sure to package their ideology in a cute, lovable way, cloaked in memes and satire. Artists simply looking to fit in or "stick it to the SJWs" spread the memes while believing that its all just jokes and fun and games.

GaryD12 is one of these. Identified by a selfie he posted to Derpibooru, he has drawn various foalcon-oriented Nazi OC pictures. Coinpo, who was banned previously, also has helped popularize Aryanne through Nazi porn.
