With all the awesome Star Wars news this weekend, this morning's viewing had to be the stunning "Star Wars: The Clone Wars" micro-series by Genndy Tartakovsky. Canon or not, it remains one of the all-time best pieces of Star Wars media, no doubt.

Revisiting the first episode of Static Shock this morning and, all told, it's a solid debut for the series. The character work and subject matter, especially for Virgil, really hits hard, the gags work and the cliffhanger is aces.

On this day back in 2000, Kids'WB! aired the Batman Beyond episode "Ace in the Hole." It's a moving and at times tough-to-watch episode that reveals the origin of Ace, Bruce's canine companion. The last scene, with Bruce and Ace, gets me every time. #BatmanBeyond #Batman #DCAU
