Sorry I'm a little late with this, I only realized it was the day of Metroid's 35th anniversary the day of as per usual. I thought it'd be nice to celebrate by drawing Samus in her Justin Bailey costume from the first game

After switching between every other Metroid game, I thought I'd blow the dust off of my copy of Other M. And it kind of feels bad because the game part of Other M has so much potential, it makes me kinda wish it didn't end there. Gameplay Samus is so cool in this game

Was in the mood to draw a Fusion Samus, but this time in a similar style and demeanor to how she is portrayed in the manga. Been drowning myself in Metroid content since Dread got revealed and I don't know how soon I'll be stopping

Bonus: Aerith as a Chozo instead of an Ancient

Decided to draw Samus as Cloud and Dark Samus as Sephiroth because one day a while back I realized while watching a playthrough of Final Fantasy 7 that the scenario involving Jenova reminded me a lot of Phazon from the Metroid Prime games (and maybe X from Fusion).

Watching a playthrough of Metal Gear Rising inspired me draw cyborg-ninja Samus and senator Mother Brain, as odd as that may sound. Maybe because both Raiden and Samus broke off from their military groups in order to carry out their own ideas of justice.

drew a Samus in this style, as it seems I've grown rusty in my normal one. It was kinda just a sketch I decided to finish, and of course I wanted to draw her Fusion design

I love Samus's new Power suit from Metroid Dread, but just couldn't squeeze out enough patience to line the whole thing so I colored the sketch instead
