When I'm trying to figure out where I want the shadows/highlights in a given art, I'll usually scribble them in all messy-like first -- like so!

@WhimsicalWolfi Thank you for hosting this art share! What inspires me? That's a good question. I get inspired by all sorts of random/dumb stuff on a daily basis (a song on the radio, the colors I see on a chair, a particularly fluffy cat, etc.)
