Editorial illustrations for the first four pieces in @TheSpinoffTV Sunday Essay series. All the pieces have been so good and loving seeing a different illustrator on each too. These ones by Te Kahureremoa Taumata, @hanpanmangaki, @GaryVenn and Sophie Watson. Chefs kiss
Last in this series for The Beths @LizstokedStokes this friday (thurs evening for US friends). They've all been such good viewing - songs, chat, audience questions, snack cam. New album out friday too. A real joy working with this band.
My grandfather John Morris was a WWII bomber pilot. He had very complicated feelings about Anzac Day (mix of trauma, guilt, shame, ptsd I think). I remember him and his mates but not in a glorious hero way, in a that-was-a-deeply-terrible-thing-to-put-people-through way.
I have still not achieved my goal of designing a true sunglasses wearing mascot and I will never give up until I do, but I gotta say I was happy to make this little guy for Allbirds for Earth Day. Getting closer.
New poster The Beths - home for couple of christmas specials before they're off again on even more US/EU touring action...
New Side Eye comic: I went to a pretty strange place with this one, not sure I totally came back. Some thoughts on 'truth' and where we draw the line between accepting others' views and calling out bullshit. Thanks @NZonAir https://t.co/rkFWE0fORW
