Ultimately, in order to convey joy, the illustrator has to give an incredibly exciting expression, one that evokes joy and happiness !

To illustrate the joyful excitement, the light must be outside, take flight and surround the lens. (@tellme_ne and @Lentaro_Yonemal) Lighting is therefore key to convey joy and make the reader smile.

I have picked out a series of drawings that refer to the joy transmitted by the light. Working with light at the centre to bring support, a joy that wants to come out and express itself and offers a warm smile (@miying23 and miyuli on tumblr).

vivacity gives an idea of agility, doesn't it ? Use it without abusing it too excessively to give a cool kick that will make the viewer smile !
I chose a fanart of Yona to show my point. The fine and lavish line gives an feeling of lightness that makes you grin.
