Jean-Michel Basquiat (1960-1988)
This dude…way too young. Neo-expressionism and modern art I’m usually not a fan of but he was able to put things in a way that gives a perspective I have never known. It’s beautiful and raw, I just wish he was able to make more. 28! Damn.

Kandinsky (1866-1944)
Something about how your eye *never* stops moving about the piece as well as the symbolism…it always gets me. It’s also nostalgic as my family owned a few reprints that I would look at often. Likely why he is my #1.
