Claire's mixed heritage doesn't get center stage, but plays out the most in the backgrounds of her house where everything is a bit of a fusion--Which is actually based on a lot of how I grew up

Mandy's mixed experience is a huge part of the story. As a mixed person who has been told my whole life I "don't look it" having Mandy have similar experiences really stuck me in all my heart strings.

Add in second gen misunderstandings, miscommunications, and culture clash 😭
