Happy Valentine's Day everyone! 💖 Here's the first piece in February's Monster Lovers palette trio, a vengeful harpy and her beloved girlfriend. For this piece, I was inspired by human face masks at the end of long animal necks, and I'm so pleased with the results!
Gearing up for Valentine's Day has me nostalgic for this palette trio! These are some of my favorite anime couples ever: Haruka and Michiru from Sailor Moon, Anthy and Utena from Revolutionary Girl Utena, and Homura and Madoka from Madoka Magica! What's your favorite WLW ship?

Lots of symbolism in this one, as always! The monkeys represent loyalty, and the dense foliage represents obfuscation. She's holding a parang rusak (broken knife) symbolizing power and justice. Finally, her multicolored batik clothing celebrates her Javanese origins.

I'm so excited to reveal my February Patreon palette and theme! I was inspired by this Witch and Wolf piece I did a few years back, so the theme this month will be Monster Lovers, a celebration of all things strange and frightening (in a hot way).
