anisotropic shading... in case u are not making videogames or looking at 3d renders all day is basically when you have long stretched highlights bc of grooves. like CDs, fur, silk/other types of cloth.... and hair!
i feel like velvet/cloth-like shading is just a cool direction choice bc it gives them a grounded real world Feeling without being a weird too naturalistic/next gen-y expensive fur mess haha
a year ago i wanted to make a comic + game mix retelling of sleeping beauty that i had to put down bc of wrist pain....... but thinking abt revisiting Them possibly for this year.....
