According to Sakura Hiden, through her perfect chakra control, Sakura is able to create a defensive shield of chakra around her entire body to protect herself from damage and incoming attacks, similar to what Naruto does with Kurama and Sasuke with his Susanoo

In Sakura Hiden, the main antagonist, Kido, was an ex-ANBU who created drugs made from Naruto and Sasuke’s DNA in order to replicate their jinchuriki and sharingan powers. Kido was a threat so large Kakashi believed only Naruto or Sasuke could face him-Sakura beat him by herself.
