Here is a grayscale process shot of the Chandra illustration. At this point I was still going to draw her hair in flames, but decided to leave it out.
I used to go straight to coloring, but recently I've been doing the grayscale versions and it has helped a lot with the values.

This was spoiled yesterday so I can share it here now. It's called a Dark Deal and it's a card illustration for an upcoming Call to Adventure: Epic Origins board game by Brotherwise Games. I had a lot of fun drawing this!
