A few years ago, Imagineers looked at adding a few tiger animatronics to DLP's Indiana Jones et le Temple du Péril: Cubs playing in the explorers' camp that you see in the queue as well as an encounter with a full-grown cat on your roller coaster ride.

A lot of backstory was created for Tokyo DisneySea's Mysterious Island and its attractions. The invention of an "Aquaphone" helps Captain Nemo to stay in touch with the subs of the "20,000 Leagues" ride.
