I'm Zenovia and I am querying a YA fantasy. Scarlet must overcome the fear blocking her magic and learn to work with other magical teenage misfits to defeat a cult and track down the evil and (supposedly) dead queen it worships.

Merry: Member of the king's elite squad. A childhood friend of Sangeeta, the two's families belong to the same religion. She is ruthless on the battlefield and doesn't take many things seriously. She seems unaware of Sangeeta's romantic feelings toward her.

Sangeeta: Therapist. Her nervous composition may make her seem unsuited for her job, but she has an uncanny ability to interpret people's body language. It's almost as if she can read minds. She can even tell if someone is lying. The only exception is her childhood friend, Merry.

Chalermkwan: Member of the king's elite squad. She was also adopted by him at a young age. Though she can pack a punch, her real strength on the battlefield is her agility. She does her best to keep others safe and is willing to put her life on the line to protect her loved ones.
