i FINALLY finished my value comps for this project. we had to choose a book to illustrate a scene from, so i chose Interview With the Vampire. this is the scene where lestat reveals himself to louis. only one of these versions will be taken to completion.

the process for this was different from what i normally do, so it was full of a lot of trial and error. had to redraw a few people, and buddha got his new ped partway through so i had to change his hair 🥴. but overall i’m really proud of this piece.

here is the finished artwork for the 1k raffle that was won by @SvenjaTheLost of her character Ndike! she was a fun character to draw, and it was some nice practice for when i eventually reopen commissions.

did a quick “farm girl” penny sketch to warm up before work. all of the food changes on the server have been really interesting, and it’s been cool watching @raine_go_away start to figure it out.

After much effort, my last project of the semester is complete! We had to do 3 simultaneous illustrations, so I decided to start a series for a potential deck of cards. I quite like how these turned out, and i’m excited to expand on the series on my own time.
