The models were taking poses from Picasso’s Vollard Suite. Here is a watercolor I did, same pose but without the props. It’s a way for me to understand their bodies and their positions
I work very fast. The pose was for about fifteen minutes and I did at least two drawings
This watercolor was created during a Zoom drawing session. Since Covid, artists and models could not meet in person. Zoom filled that gap.
Zoom also had an advantage in that it opened up the world. The models for this drawing were both working for the Royal Academy in London
