6/6 MB-60 Japanese expander bleed cycle cryogenic engine. Similar isp to higher end RL10s but with double the thrust. Proposed as a Delta IV upgrade as well as for future H2A and briefly considered for SLS. Ultimately never got made. thanks @RaptorNM_ for the last pic.

The Mitsubishi MB-60 (aka MARC60 aka MB-XX) is now on the BDB github dev for testing :) This was a proposal for future Delta IV and H2A upgrades and briefly was considered for SLS' EUS (in a 2x form). @torybruno thought you might like to see this visualised :) #KSP #kerbal

2/2 The orbiter is huge, as you can see the annular solar panels are not far from the full S4B diameter. The orbiter is also propelled by a Lunar Module Descent Engine. Work on the lander hasn't started yet.

4/4 With the rest of the BDB nuclear family, it is in fact shorter than the small Timberwind with nozzle retracted although it requires 2.5m diameter clearance sideways.

1/6 NERVA XE (bleed cycle) and NERVA full flow (final flight engine for reusable nuclear shuttle etc) are now on the BDB development github. Along with NERVA II already uploaded. #KSP #kerbalSpaceProgram #kerbal #nerva

Compared to the rest of the line up left to right: TIMBERWIND/SNTP 45 and 75 particle bed reactor engines, NERVA II (based on Phoebus II reactor), NERVA full flow, and NERVA hot bleed (both KIWI B reactors)
