12) Silpheed (1993)
A Sega CD remake of an old STG that debuted on Japanese computers. Silpheed is a master of using SCD limitations to create stunning visuals w a lowpoly style. The FMV backgrounds rarely feel grainy and mesh well with the polygonal ships onscreen.

6) Knuckles Chaotix
Let's face it, it's not the best Sonic game, but the sheer novelty of its existence and its visual/audio presentation carry this game and make it one of the few reasons to dip into the 32X's library

An unusual departure from Irem's usual gritty, dystopian STGs, Mystic Riders is a cute em up where two magicians ride brooms and shoot enemies with magic or throw their brooms like they're weapons!

2) Soukyuugurrentai
It's got the heart of Raystorm, the presentation and sound of Radiant Silvergun (Same composer. also it predates Silvergun lol), and the aesthetics of NGE or some 90s cyberpunk anime. Who knows if this will ever get a port, but damn if it ain't a cool game

@Silverwhip1 Yeah, it's a SMB2 rom hack where you get to play as carnage and a few other symbiote-having people. Doesn't change the levels, though.

This really doesn't help get rid of the 'evil con man' perception that a certain game slapped onto your rep.
