Been getting way too into these Evangelion redraws with Zyra, who surprise, was once (and arguably still is) a massive Shinji expy.

Refreshing an old ZS character! This is Thad Watanabe🛸

Thad’s a fan of horror, true crime, and unexplained phenomena. He fancies himself an amateur UFO hunter, making 3am videos about aliens and sharing them at school, where he’s prez of the paranormal/movie club.

The original had all the parts on separate layers, so after some fiddling in Blender and CS Modeler, I ended up with a posable Zyra model!

This is going to be a lifesaver with my comic and now that I know I can do this, more models of my other character may be on the horizon!

I had the brilliant idea of turning my little Zyra sculpt into a usable CSP 3d model and now the scope of angles I have for this little twerp has opened up

Animation collab with my buddy @ickystyx who did this awesome pencil rough of Zyra a little while ago that I promised to ink and color.

Going off of their sketch was really fun and taught me a lot about things like smears and holds, we gotta do this again sometime 👀
