wanted to talk about one of my fave indulgent romance visual novels, Nameless, about a girl's ball-jointed dolls who come to life as cute guys. it was done by Cheritz, the devs behind Mystic Messenger, in collaboration with real-life BJD company Crobidoll.

my comic character design shortcut is giving characters big flowy clothes like capes and sashes to cover their bodies, cut panels, just speed up the drawing process with giant SHAPE

one of my fave things about writing Keng is not showing his internal narrative. he has a lot of thoughts and emotions but you'd only know if he voices them. it's why I named this ep's title the way I did 🫣
