This episode is the start of a new era for Nagisa and Honoka on their wonderful relationship.
It also marked the end of an era on one of Toei Animation's most talented directors and he couldn't have ended it better than this.
Even though they stuck a battle in this one, it was over and done with incredibly quickly.
Pretty sure there was a load of Naotoshi Shida animation in this.
(good lord I'm becoming more of a sakuga nerd by the day...)
This was as dramatic as his output on Ashita no Nadja. This scene here was incredible.
