re: single layer coloring. I only felt enough confidence at the end, when I got to the hair, where I really dared to redraw bits, but I really like the results. So next time, I'll try getting more adventurous on the rest. But I definitely like this method.

yay I'm done. I still need a lot of work on practicing this new single layer coloring, but I like how this turned out. The full piece will be posted on Yzak's birthday, which is like... 8/8... yeah I started this way too early lol

you can't tell from this, but I spent way too much time drawing the hands... redrawing the hands. I'll work on a hand study later, but for now, I don't want to deal with hands for a long time 😭
