Gonna be real honest, there's a lot to unpack about these character designs. These genuinely are some of the worst that Pokemon has had to offer for players.
compare that to Generation 8, 7, and even 6's designs...
@dosanjosgabriel o design base deles eu acho bem interessante, o mais sem graça pra mim é o menino de kalos mas ainda sim eles costumam deixar cada um com um visual proprio e eu acho mais legal assim
sem falar q é esse design q usam nas animações e no mangá, então é bom ter um esforço legal

I don't really like how similar the protags looks, and yes I know I can probably change my outfit
I just like them to look different and stand out in their own way for things like Anime specials, Manga, and other promos

@moyai_boi It defo is generic, way more boring t previous gens, I mean just take a look at Kalos, looks way better
@syntheticserum @adifying Is because a lot of random npcs call you a grown up, you are implied to be older than Emma who is 16, and their official art has closer to adult character proportions than all other protagonists.
@poke_times 顔がイマイチっていうのもあるけど、デフォルトの服装がパッとしないのも微妙に感じる一因だと思うなぁ。従来の主人公が持ってるスタイリッシュさが無くて、そこら辺にいる一般トレーナーって言われても違和感ないぞ
良かった結構多数の人が主人公の顔ちょっとえぇってなってた。
全然ビジュ悪いわけじゃないんだけど、ポケモンならではのあの顔が好きなんです…すごい好みだった子達
