Casca is a commanding, take-no-shit, badass. The leading woman in one of the best written mangas of all time, who is also dark skinned, something black women rarely get to see in anime.
Reducing her to nothing but her trauma is purely insulting when she’s so much fucking more.

There has yet to be an adaption which captures Berserk better in animation format.
It wasn't as detailed as the manga obv but still portrayed the characters in a way that felt faithful to the sourcematerial.
