Imagine how obnoxious of a story Progressive would be, if it was Kirito and Asuna constantly mentioning how they love the other person, but won't ever marry them and therefore they just want to die alone... IN THE MIDDLE OF AN ONGOING MURDER CRISIS... EVERY 10 PAGES!!!!!!!!!
Given the differences in approach to story in Moon Cradle between v19 and v20, it's probably an artifact of the first half being written back in WN days, while the latter is LN days, leading to a worse reception for 19 and a better one for 20, despite being 1 story with 2 parts.
every ~10 pages, Ronye as the MC, just zones out & starts thinking about how she'll never marry Kirito & therefore she wants to die without loving anyone else, bringing the entire narrative to a stop, while repeating the exact same things she was saying since the first 10 pages.
You know what's the worst about #SwordArtOnline #MoonCradle (v19)? There's a genuinely interesting plot going & it's great to see Kirito from a 3rd person view, so he looks like an utter moron without his internal explanations & justifications for the stupid shit he does. But...
