@KameosLastStand Pale? What the hell are you even going on about? She's not pale, you can still tell that she's tanned in the bright light -
If anything, her 'official' art, barely has any light sources on it, and obviously doesn't follow the game.
Oh, would you look at that? In darker lighting, she's back to her 'standard' colors.
I'm not as mad at this since it's not attacking artists specifically for making fan art, but this is still very stupid.

So, people are claiming that there's white washing happening again in pokemon... Huh, would you look at that? Her hair's lighter, her skin's lighter, her clothes are lighter...
... Do people really not understand lighting?

アニメーションがとっても質が高くて見事なアニメでした！！
そしてサイトウちゃんの果てしない可愛さに惹かれまくったけど、ラストのカイリキーがイケメン過ぎて抱かれてもいいって思った。
A patreon request you know they only paid a dollar for this since it was a #YCH maybe next time it will be you if your a patreon. On the real tho all the whitewashing claims are BS If a characters skin tone is lighter that isn't offensive so stop trying to make it. (1-2)
@WheelDonut @RyuKaiser29 @T_E_T_W_A_V_E @ArchonOf Case and point, interior lighting / lack of sunlight. Its amazing just how blatantly cherry picked the examples of “whitewashing” provided are, ignoring the drastic effect natural light and position of the sun has.

Honestly rewatching this short, its amazing how blatantly dishonest the discourse is, the same few screenshots cherrypicked in order to fabricate a controversy, when there are plenty of examples of Bea’s skin tone matching or even appearing darker than the game, because LIGHTING.
Bon, je sais que je joue gros en donnant mon avis, mais je pense que c'est nécessaire pour éviter des accusations à tord sur d'autres boîtes, plus petites, plus tard... Prenez le temps de tout lire, tout est expliqué et comparé, j'y ai passé du temps. 1/2
