I’m sorry, I don’t like how the player characters look.
I think it’s mainly the eyes.
They look like they’re from a spin off game like Detective Pikachu.

Okay, it was kind of a thing with Arceus where the protags looked very similar because of the Team Uniform, but with Scarlet and Violet, the protags are, so Grossly similar, like why?

How did we go from this to this?
Legends designs were badass, and gen 9 are just regular uniform kid designs. It looks like the first trainer you would encounter in the first route or something. It doesn't scream "protagonist" to me at all.
Mainline game designs need to step up.
