I feel like Squeak Squad has the most remote, overlooked Dedede design out there, because you can't even see it in-game due to his boss fight reusing Nightmare in Dream Land sprites, the only way to experience it is through this artwork

Im still iffy about dedede's redesign in return to dreamland deluxe / forgotten land when growing up with these designs tbh
It ain't bad whatso ever and he does look more like an actual penguin but I'll also miss these goofy ass mf'ers

Lrt. I really wanted to touch on this subject because honestly? I like the design direction dedede has been going through. With Forgotten Land and now even more with Return Deluxe, I feel heavy vibes of the Kirby 64 dedede. And I like this a lot. No neck, but look. Orbb.
