@GideonOnGaming Not every Xenoblade character looks like Pyra/Mythra. Monolith Soft always makes something different each game. That has nothing to do with ''listened to the criticisms'' especially when they know how popular Pyra and Mythra are.

Both sides who say XC3 designs are ''censored'' in a positive and negative way in contrast to XC2 are completely dumb and never played XC2.

Many people who didn't play Xenoblade 2 don't realize XC2 & XC3 characters were designed by the same person.

I get that many of these are supposed to be those gacha Blades that you pull and obviously don't see as much as say, Mythra or whatever, but it's not like Nia or this other chick look bad, either. Like, at all. I'm struggling to find any blatantly shit ones aside from Rex.
compared to 2’s casting (while it grew on me over time) took its own direction with characters like Rex and Nia making them sound different than their jpn counterparts - while not a bad thing there were issues with some characters sounding older/younger than they appear

Yeah it does feel lacking in identity, very samey. Like before they confirmed it I couldn't have told you if the art was his or someone else's.
I do find it kind of funny though that his sketches have a stronger charm and presence than his finished works haha
