The Pikmin animations I’m working on will have a similar style to my Splatoon ones, so I’ve updated the way I draw them a bit
They’re inspired by the GameCube models pretty heavily

According to a press release for the game, Hometown Story, Atsuko Nishida is responsible for designing Ash, Brock and Misty for the Pokemon anime.
Nishida is also noteworthy for designing Pikachu, the Pokemon franchise's mascot and Ash's first partner Pokemon.

On Sep 8th, 1998, I was first introduced to Pokémon through the eyes of Ash Ketchum.
25 years later, I wasn't quite expecting to be so emotional at his departure but... I guess it makes sense. Without that moment my life would be fundamentally different.
