On découvre d'abord le chara-design de Piccolo et la volonté de lui appliquer pour la 1ere fois les couleurs du manga.
Pour comparaison, j'ajoute son design de Shintani provenant du film Broly.
Par contre il a tjr 5 doigts comme dans l'animé alors qu'il en à 4 dans le manga.

I think I like the newer Piccolo design more than the Broly design
It looks like a far more refined and polished take on Toriyama’s OG manga design
The new Dragon Ball Super movie is going for the manga's style of coloring and I'm honestly here for it.
@LKSDraws Even King Piccolo, who wished for eternal youth, had yellow patches (in both his elderly form and young form)

The animation looked unfinished but i think they only wanted to show the movements. The other desings look pretty nice. Desing reminds me a little of DBO

@TheGXBlack They’re meant to be the same booties. The production team is following Toriyama’s current designs a little too closely. I feel like the only reason he drew them with soles is bc he forgot how he used to draw them so it’s an unnecessary change for the anime.
