my goal for art is to one day be able to draw shulk as soft as the one from the monado archives...
i simply dont care about xenoblade but in personal opinion it’s really disappointing that the art for the original game had a genuinely interesting art style and instead of updating the graphics to better reflect it, they went for this generic ass anime style. it’s boring.
Xenoblade's new art style is more Switch-friendly; flatter colors and cleaner lines means it looks less "analog". But its contemporary look loses some warmth.
Zodiac Age isn't a radical updatee, but it captures the original game's intent while making upgrades to lighting/hair
People don't talk alot about Norihino Takami, especially now Xenoblade Chronicles definitive edition is about to release. They are the artist of the 2010/3DS version.
I was always amazed by their art. Look at how they changed between this 2010 XBC and SSB promo art!

I've been thinking about it for some time, I want a Xenoblade timeline where Meyneth survives after the fight against Zanza, and one where it goes real dark and it's Fiora that sacrifices herself and Meyneth survives.
I know that the DE won't do it, but I think it would be cool.
out of all the official depictions of fiora i still think her xbc2 art is the best. how can you say no to that blindingly sunny smile. her fluttering hair. so sweet
