More inspired than ever to make Griffiths hawk armour in honour of Kentaro Miuras work. I’m at such a loss.
I wasn't sure whether to colour this or not tbh
I was happy to leave Guts with just the line work, but Griffith is such a light character, that it didn't look right doing the same line work on him, so I thought colour would look better, though I'm still not totally sure...
Had to do something to pay tribute to Kentaro Miura
It's incredibly sad that he's gone, he was such a talented and influential person
Even though it's unfinished, he was able to leave behind something truly amazing with his manga Berserk

Berserk, Master Miura's art, his dedication, are all things I strive to imitate. They are the fabric of what I want to put forth as an artist.

RIP Miura
I'm still trying to process it, as knowing there will never be any more Berserk is a massive blow. That comic helped me through some rough times in my childhood and played a massive role in inspiring me towards going into art. He and his creations will deeply missed.
Thinking about Kentaro Miura and Berserk and his/its influence on my art and me today. Still heartbroken.
