Metroid Prime finally set a standard for her visor color by making it green by default, but blue with the Gravity Suit (including the suit's lights)

The Fusion Suit in Prime also has a blue visor in Prime

For some reason, in the 2D games, Samus is almost always represented with a blue visor in official artwork (the only exception being the ending shot of her Gravity Suit in Zero Mission), but in game her visor has always been green
