要はセラムンや只野感も80's扱いされているわけだけど、後年の状況によって過去への受容が変わる、みたいな現象は歴史においてよくあるよね
コードギアスのおかげでダーティペアFlash(1994)が今見るとオーパーツのように見えるのもそういう受容の変化なのかもしれない(これは2019年の描き下ろし)

Even the 80s version didn't look like the designs from the original pulp novels they were adapting
Also I think the different designs help to showcase that this is a new Dirty Pair and a different take at first glance and shows they are trying the 90s thing
