In a similar fashion to it's predecessor, Puyo Puyo 15th Anniversary, Puyo Puyo 7 reuses and edits assets from the prior game for some of its character sprites, although here, it extends to even the ingame character cut-ins. Here's a comparsion of two sprites between 15th and 7
Something unique about Raffina's Fever 1 design compared to her other designs are the shoes she wears. With this design, her shoes are pointed upwards in a similar style to elf shoes. All of her later designs would remove this detail, so she just wears regular shoes instead.
