Tbh comparing these two might be the best representation of repeatedly drawing the same character and improving since they were both done by hand. There is about 3 years between them!
[2011] So there wasn’t a lot of posted art in 2010 because my family’s computer was basically unusable, but I did a lot of hand sketching which you can see the result of in the first drawing with the obnoxious watermark
We got a new computer and I made a SS art to celebrate lol
[2009] I got an actual photo editing program that gave me fancy soft brushes! My shading was… improving… lol. But the MS Paint MM Link is a big improvement over the Toon Link.
[2008] My first Link /ever/ drawn on paper (I had gone back and wrote “first?” Because I just knew, somehow, this was going to be a long term obsession lol
I was just learning how to shade, and Cell Shading was The Cool Thing to do. I think I made the toon link in MS Paint.
