@smilingfacadee @marcys_bff yeah, but THIS is what i see happening more often than actual colour styling. if youre JUST lightening the skin, its not a "pastel theme", especially if youre saturated just about every other colour like the second art.
@fazleyff @bunnynoceda @marcys_bff for example, nessa was a character that was commonly whitewashed by asian artists. i say this because none of the top two arts feature a pastel colour palette, and in fact in the first one everything but the skin is more saturated than the original colouring (bottom right) +
