The hero from Dragon Quest VIII was chosen due to his popularity overseas, but the final slot came down to the heroes from the original Dragon Quest game and Dragon Quest IV. They decided on the latter due that hero having a more consistent portrayal across media.
Idk fucking art or something. Since I have no art on this account except that sad spongebob solo I made in 2 minutes (orange dragon is supposed to be in Akira toriyama's art style) LAST TWO ARE NOT MY OCs but drawing them was fun :)

ダイ大アニメの瞳の描き方とか参考にして描いたお気に入り。(笑)

Although this is game and DQVI with my least favorite Hero Designs. Wasn't to big on Solo/Sofia. They feel just like the odd ones out. I will talk about DQVI when I get to it.
