⬆️"It's how Rumiko decided it to be", yes, but Rumiko ALREADY drew her wearing precious kimonos in the past. It wasn't too hard to give Kagome her own/different outfit to make her a Miko capable of "stand out" between other Mikos. Her daughter can wear Inuyasha's iconic RED~ ✌️😍
I need to be honest, independently of the "Kagome is Kagome, there isn't replacement for you" I really never liked how she looked in Miko's clothes; like I already said, she was capable of use her powers independently of the clothes she was wearing. She's prettier in kimonos💕⤵️
Why not give Kagome another kind of clothes at the end of the series, instead of the same Miko's clothes that Kikyo (and Kaede) always had?
Sango had 2 types of clothes (exterminator and casual) so Kag0me could also wear more than one set of clothes, like…

And I know the art of any mangaka can change with the pass of the years… but I always liked how Rumiko tried to give "different glares" to each girl; even if it was implied their faces were "the same" because of the reincarnation stuff, Kag0me's serene eyes were bigger, right?⤵️

Even when Kag0me tried to prove MORE THAN ONCE how she wasn't Kiky0, she was a different person, "Kag0me is Kag0me" and *blahblahblah*⤵️
