Toaru Series
This one is a bit too difficult to choose from so just pretend I added a lot of bonuses (Yes I cheated, there's so many characters I like in Toaru, what are you gonna do about it?)
Aradia was just there to serve as a meh cancel culture message and fail to kill Touma. I don't want Touma to die but if it's just a villain attacks Touma and Touma beats them it feels a little pointless. This isn't early OT anymore, Kamachi.
Though OT5>>>GT6 still.
Writing a volume that has a lot of fun in it is perfectly fine, I just don't think GT6 is all that fun at all. Relationships like Touma and Bologna aren't meant to go anywhere because she isn't a harem girl and she had virtually no flaws as a person.
Literally a dumb waifu char.
GT1 did its job as an introduction for Genesis Testament, GT2 re-established the heroine dynamics and kept its promise of mostly old cast of characters, GT3 focused on stakes and potential change for the series with possible consequences.
