旧作エヴァ特有の退廃的で全体的に情緒不安定で終末感漂う内向的な世界観が本当に大好き。
旧約聖書を中心にオカルトネタを利用した壮大なスケールの背景に対し、終始人間の愛とエゴを語っている極端さが良い。
新劇場版は旧作の持ち味だった毒気が失われたせいで、旧作程の衝撃が無いのが残念。

After much discussion I think me and finally understood what happened in the movies and the ending. At least to a place we are happy with. Gorgeous movies with a lot to unpack and some wonderfully complex characters.
