Out of all seasons, Smile feels the most nostalgic to me. Probably because it's the first season that I was actually followed from its first episode. Granted, I never paid attention to leaks or watched an ep live tho. That honor goes to Doki Doki & HaCha respectively.

As someone who has never seen PreCure and only has an outside perspective, it's hella weird seeing that the first few instalment designs look a lot more "tame" and less "Standard colourful magical girl group" than its later seasons. Going purely by the promo art btw.
