Original for comparison. Looking at it now I'm missing a lot of the glow coming off the Ohm's eye.
Nausicaä of the Valley of the Wind
Story follows Nausicaä, princess of Valley of the Wind, as she tries to find a way for humans and Ohms (huge insect creatures) to coexist in the middle of a post-apocalyptic war. The worldbuilding and soundtrack are 👏Truly a masterpiece!
次に、この「ナウシカの死」を映す一連のシーンは復活まで同じ後ろ斜め上からのアングルやロングを使ったり、なるべく客観的な構図を使っている。
たぶんヒロインの遺体をまざまざ映すことに抵抗があった演出家の配慮だと思うんだけど、このカットだけ顔を真正面から撮っていて違和感がある。
Para una pelicula de fantasia es muy poco comun que hagan escenarios realistas en esta, incluso dentro del propio studio ghibli esto era raro, pues en peliculas como Laputa, Mi Vecino totoro, o el Castillo Ambulante, era comun que vieramis escenarios fantasticos, casi irreales⤵️
