@JumblyJim I think this very often.
Especially since character choices they would have had if they done that would have been quite amazing.
And it would have absolutely been more popular with the Casual and General Audience

Mfers hating on Aoko's design for looking boring and plain even for Melty Blood and using her as an example for the game's "bad" character design for just jeans and a white tee. Ironically that made me MORE interested in her.

Turns out, in lore, that design choice was the POINT.
