I'll never get over IHs thinking "Kubo spat on IRs faces by placing Tsukishima in Rukia's role" but forget that Kubo chose Tsukishima to help Ichigo fix Zangetsu instead of Orihime who was RIGHT THERE and unable to do anything but telling Ichigo “you can’t fight anymore” lol.

ichigos first reaction is always to be sure orihime is safe and okay 🥺

ichigo again (like his outburst at ulquiorra) only loses his composure when orihime’s safety is mentioned, finally getting the reaction grimmjow wanted therefore teaching him if he wants a better fight with ichigo, he has to go for orihime.

the progression of ichigo finally seeing orihime, seeing theres a threat to her nearby, and that threat causing her pain

i like how this scene with tatsuki mirrors when orihime asked him what happened to rukia because theres such a grave difference in tone and where ichigo is in his character arc.

ichigo really said “screw the world, saving it doesnt mean anything if shes not in it.”

ichigo almost looks like hes scowling in his sleep when orihimes saying goodbye, and then he mentions having had a dream which in non-viz translation, he calls a nightmare. either way, he seemed to have noticed orihime leaving his world.

even with the weight of the world on his shoulders, ichigo will always tell orihime things will be alright & he’ll take care of it. orihime recognizes the strength it takes to face things head on like that, but still worries for him so she has to get strong too & be there for him
