Maaan Season 2 of 86 was so good. A step up from the already impressive S1 with two fantastic protagonistic arcs and consistently riveting direction and layered visual storytelling all over the place. If the adaptation continues like this then it could easily become a favourite.

THE KIDS FINALLY GET A VACATION. 🥳 And holy cow do they deserve it. This volume is nice because it finally allows the kids to just be silly teenagers for once. It’s fluff, but fluff that was sorely needed.

Volume 6

Shin hits his lowest point in this volume, but again, it’s real good shit. As he realizes how messed up he truly is and how his nihilistic mindset would not be conducive to living with another person, he finally starts taking steps to change.
