@Deepseablus Ok i figured it out aparently she was a route in the vn but had her arc moved to the second season her design is so generic i could not recognize her i literally thought she was a one off character

…いちいち「感動」を押し売りするために誰かが無理矢理に死んでいくのが付き合い切れなくなって、key の作品から心離れしたなぁ。Kanon ぐらいで丁度良い。Air を超えると見ていて空気が重過ぎる。

It's not necessarily even the "bug eyes" and comparisons to bugs that piss me off, it's just this collective "abhorration" for this art style and that of early Hinoue art style characters too.

Like, you look at this... and hate it?

It especially pisses me off to no end when it comes to the KyoAni KEY adaptations in specific, because it's more than often always "the eyes are x, y & z" but mostly done in a mocking or abrasive mannerism.

And you wanna know what? It's always from a close minded perspective.

@mordred_dll Big agree. Not because it's my favorite, but I see a really good fight scene and think "damn... ain't got nothing on a scene in clannad where a character just thinks to themselves"
