She may be very niche to most fans of Smash, but I'm sure a lot of people would learn to love her if they give her a chance if she got in. Her popularity has spiked, thanks to Xenoblade 2 and recent Smash speculation, so all I can do is sit and hope for the best.

As a lot of you probably already know, KOS-MOS makes a cameo appearance in Xenoblade 2 (2017) as an obtainable blade. Same goes for T-elos, Shulk, Fiora, and Elma. I wouldn't be surprised if this is where most of you first found out who she was, based on how well that game sold.
Speaking of the Tales games, KOS-MOS appeared as a cameo support in Tales of Hearts. She also appeared in Bandai Namco's dedicated baseball game, Famista 2011, alongside her partner Shion.
KOS-MOS is from Xenosaga. A trilogy of PS2 JRPGs developed by Monolith Soft, published by Bandai Namco, and serves as a predecessor to Xenoblade. There were also a couple of side games and a side story aside from the main trilogy. The series lasted between the years 2002 to 2006.
