Another small detail in Pokemon that I really like: in SWSH, Bede’s eyes get sparkles after he goes through character development
Goh also gets Raichu before Chloe even captures Eevee! Leon is given Rillaboom (a Pokémon he has if the protagonist has Inteleon and Hop has Cinderace), so Goh during DD arc was indeed in the Hop role, becoming a protag with Inteleon in PM.
